Servo Connectors are pleased to introduce a new range of miniature
circular connectors, from Souriau.

Souriau, have designed and developed this range of connectors, based on MIL-DTL-38999, specifically to meet the demands within the Aerospace, Defense and Professional Industrial markets, where space and/or weight are of critical importance, along with the security of a high performance and quality product e.g. Tactical Communications Equipment, UAV’s, Sensor’s, Instrumentation etc’ .

The mirco38999 Series delivers some significant advantages, being up to 50% less connector depth, having a diameter that's up to 40% smaller and providing up to 3x weight saving, when compared against the smallest current standard 38999 (Series III) products.

The micro38999 range is available in threaded, breakaway and bayonet coupling configurations. They are currently manufactured in shell sizes, 3, 5 and 7 and can be configured with, 3, 5, 6 or 9 M39029 contacts.

The use of standard M39029 contacts, in the micro38999 range, ensures the termination (crimp), insertion and removal of the contacts, enables the users to wire and un-wire connectors directly on site, using a known and trusted method.

These connectors are manufactured with either stainless steel (passivated) or aluminum shells (with zinc/nickel, nickel or olive drab cadmium plating) and feature a high-grade thermoplastic insulator. Built to provide reliable performance under harsh environmental conditions and are fully RoHs compliant where plating’s, such as Zinc Nickel is selected.

The micro38999 connectors from Souriau are designed to withstand vibration testing at 44 grms @ 125º C for eight hours and shock testing of 300g, 3ms and perform reliably in temperatures ranging from -55º C to 175º C, making the micro38999 a quality choice for future demands and requirements.
