The UNI Dicht gland body and individual sealing insert allow for personalised assembly to meet your specific conditions of application, cable diameters, ambient temperatures, and number of cables. This ensures individuality in serial quality. Available in sizes M4 to M120, with international special threads such as NPT or inch, the system comes in metals brass, zinc, stainless steel, and aluminum, and in plastics PVDF and polycarbonate.
The sealing inserts are made from high-grade TPE, TPE-V, and silicone (LSR) that are resistant to modern chemicals and offer improved strain relief. Plus, UNI Dicht cable glands achieve a high protection rating of up to IP 68 (up to 10 bar) or IP 69 as standard. The contact elements between the shield and the cable gland body are the heart of any EMC cable gland, and PFLITSCH offers bonding the shield using cones or innovative springs. These spring solutions enable highly reliable, quick, and easy assembly. The special advantage of cable glands with cones is the extremely rigid compression of the shield.
For cables requiring even greater protection, the blueglobe cable gland can withstand water jets under pressure (IP 69) and provides strain relief up to class B, EN 62444. With IP 68 protection up to 15 bar for one hour and wide sealing ranges, the blueglobe cable gland sets benchmarks in preventing water and dust ingress. The blueglobe principle provides gentle cable seal over a large surface and reduces stress concentration, thus ruling out damage to cable sheathing. Plus, the system offers clear product identification, good resistance to vibration, and temperature resistance from –40 °C to +130 °C with TPE sealing inserts or from –55 °C to +200 °C with silicone inserts. Connection sizes range from M8 to M85 with gland bodies made of brass, stainless steel, or plastic.
