KC2200 Series

The KEC KC2200 Series is a lightweight and compact EMC Circular Backshell that delivers high levels of EMC and environmental performance. Suitable for all standard circular connectors, it features an overall screening system provided by a braid trap nut, while individual screening is achieved through a slotted body and interwoven braid.

With no special tools required, the system is easily reworked and features teeth on the backshell body that mesh with connector teeth for a positive lock. Blind teeth provide increased EMC screening and an internal taper for enhanced environmental sealing with the connector.

The KC2200 Series also offers additional environmental sealing of the cable system by a heat shrink boot, providing an environmental seal equal to or higher than the IP rating of the connector. Cable clamp options are also available, giving you the flexibility to choose the best option for your specific installation needs.
