KC2400 Series

The KEC KC2400 Series, a lightweight and compact EMC Circular Backshell designed for overall wire screening. This backshell is suitable for all standard circular connectors and delivers high levels of EMC and environmental performance.

The KC2400 Series features an overall screening system provided by a braid trap nut, ensuring reliable protection for your cable assembly. With no special tools required, the system is easily reworked and the teeth on the backshell body mesh with connector teeth for a positive lock, providing secure installation.

Blind teeth provide increased EMC screening, and an internal taper enhances environmental sealing with the connector. The KC2400 Series also offers additional environmental sealing of the cable system by a heat shrink boot, providing an environmental seal equal to or higher than the IP rating of the connector.
