The KEC KC2100 Series a circular backshell for high levels of EMC screening and environmental sealing, including TEMPEST, suited for all standard circular connectors. The KC2100 backshell series features high levels of EMC and environmental performance inclduing TEMPEST, with overal screening provided by IRIS spring technology and individual screening with slotted tube and braid kit. The KC2100 has cable sealing of up to IP68 dependent on ‘O’ ring sealing option, with no special tools required, the backshell series is easily reworked. The KEC KC2100 mates via teeth on backshell body mesh with connector teeth for a positive lock, blind teeth for increased screening and EMC capabilities with an internal taper for enhanced environmeal sealing of the connector. THE KC2100 is deal for fibre or mixed fibre and copper cable providing EMC screening and protection for the fibre, the overal environmental seal is equal to or higher then the IP rating of the connector.
