Key Features and Benefits of the Click Connect Series:
Exceptional Durability and Sealing: Constructed from Ultem® composite, the Click Connect series is chemical resistant and environmentally sealed to IP68 when mated and fitted with the correct backshell or overmould. They meet UL94 Class V-0 flammability requirements , ensuring performance even in extreme temperatures ranging from −55∘C to +150∘C. This allows them to be washed, sterilised, and autoclaved without performance degradation
Versatile Configurations: The series is available in three planforms: 2, 7, and 12 contact arrangements, with wire gauges ranging from 16 to 22 AWG. This flexibility, combined with universal mounting options, makes them suitable for a wide array of engineering design requirements.
Flexible Mounting Options: Both the female plug and male receptacle can be used as panel connectors without modification by simply fitting a panel nut and flat washer.
Comprehensive Accessories: Servo and Electronic Sales offers a full suite of accessories to complement the Click Connect connectors, including back fittings, compression screws, mounting hardware, and dust caps. Dust caps are available for both plug and receptacle, maintaining the environmental seal and include a lanyard for ease of use.
Enhanced Protection with Overmoulding: For a tamper-proof, factory-finished solution that significantly increases environmental sealing and strain relief, the Click Connect range can be overmoulded. This process completely prevents water ingress, even if the cable jacket is breached, and guarantees an IP seal that isn’t compromised during transport or field installation. Overmoulding also provides an aesthetically pleasing, professional, and stylish finish.
Dedicated Tools and Contacts: The Click Connect Series utilises special contacts and tools, with removal and crimp tools readily available to ensure seamless integration and maintenance. Solid contacts are available in sizes 16, 20, and 22, with corresponding current ratings of 13 Amps, 7.5 Amps, and 5 Amps respectively, and are gold plated copper alloy.
