8T Series | MIL-DTL-38999 II

The Eaton Souriau MIL-DTL-38999 Series II – 8T – circular connectors are designed to meet the performance requirements of aerospace, military, and other industries where applications require extremely reliable interconnections. With a 30% shorter length than the 8LT 38999 Series I, the 8T connectors feature an aluminum alloy shell and a variety of shell types to choose from. The range extension includes a PCB contact without shoulder. These connectors are qualified to MIL-Spec, NFC 93422, VG 96912, PAN 6433, and BS 9522, making them suitable for the most severe requirements of aerospace industries and military applications such as civil and military aerospace, communication equipment, ballistic missiles & weapon systems, tanks, and test equipment.

Eaton Souriau offers 11 different shells and 43 layouts (from size 8 to 24) to address applications requiring high-density connection systems. The 8T connectors provide an extreme compact solution that fits all the box architecture and offers a real place optimization. These connectors feature a large contact layout, ranging from 1 to 28 contacts. The 8T connectors are available with RoHS plating (black zinc nickel) and offer a concrete RoHS alternative to cadmium.
