SMS Series

The Eaton Souriau SMS series is a plastic rectangular connector featuring a quick mating mechanism and available in 3 to 36 positions. With a pitch of 5.08mm and the option of a low profile version, it is ideal for high density applications and tight space integration. This series offers a complete interconnect solution, including a wire version, PCB version, and accessory options. The cable, plug, and receptacles feature pin-protection skirts, positive polarisation, and are available with or without integrated strain relief hoods. The SMS series is temperature resistant to -55° to +105°C (standard version) or -40° to +105°C (flame retardant version) and has a sealing rating of IP40. It is UL recognized and CSA certified for safe use, with the flame retardant version receiving a UL94 V2 rating (black version) or a UL94 V0 rating (white version). The SMS series is quality tested to ensure durability, with a lifespan of 500 mating cycles. It also has a Rohs REACH certification. The SMS series IP version is completely waterproof with sealing rated at IP67, providing a safe and reliable interconnect solution.
