The KEC KC2300 Series is a EMC circular backshell with b raid trap nut termination for overall and indiviudal wire screening. The KC2300 features lightweight and compact backshell solution suited for all standard circular connectors, with high levels of EMC and environmental performance. Overall screening is provided by braid trap nut, individual screening with slotted body and inerwoven braid. No specialist tooling are required and system is easily reworked, the teeth on the backshell body mesh with connector teeth for a positive lock. Blind teeth for increased EMC screening with internal taper for enhanced environmental sealing with the connector, additional environmental sealing of cable system by heat shrink boot to provide environemtnal seal that is equal to or higher than the IP rating of the connector, cable clamp options are also available with the KEC KC2300 backshell series.
